May the Passion of Jesus Christ be always in our hearts

Foley Canonization

Theodore Foley, C.P.
During the years 1945, 1946, 1947, 1948, 1951 until August, 1952, Father Theodore Foley, C.P. lived here as Theology Professor or Director of Students for our Passionist Seminarians.  As General Consultor he conducted Visitation from May 24th to May 30 1959.  He later became Superior General of the Passionists from 1964 to 1974. His cause for canonization is now being presented in Rome. His room was on the 3rd Floor of Immaculate Conception Monastery.

He is currently a “Servant of God,” in the canonization process.  The next step is “Venerable.”  In order for this to occur, confirmation of his sainthood must be made by God in the form of a miracle.  “Blessed is the final step and then canonization to Sainthood.

Father Theodore needs a miracle to reach the next step.  If you need a miracle in your life or in your family pray to him, that he ask God to grant your wish.  Please report any miracles to us, so that we may further Father Theodore’s cause for sainthood.
